This album cover is of the RnB genre as T-pain is an established RnB artist. the first thing I noticed on this album cover was that the actually artist is not presented on the album cover within the form of an actual photograph but however in graphic art from. The colour scheme used on this album cover is pale yellows, and greens which I do not think really catches the audiences eyes however in the background they are bright red and dark greens which stand out against the black grpahic image of T-pain. The colours used are quite royal colours which could be used to show the convention of the expensive lifestyle the RnB genre useually promotes. The album cover is useing a circus theme, we can tell this because within the black graphic image there are also images such as elephants, tigers, cannnons and, accrobatics. On this CD cover the use of font style I think has been done very well, the artist's name is 'T-Pain' is done in a font that again fits to the circus theme, the font is bold and easy to read and also looks as though the artist himself is trying to present himself and his album to the audience.
In the graphic art image of T-pain he is dressed up as a ringmaster again linking to the circus theme, the ringmaster is useually seen as a powerfull male and is in charge of the circus, this could be used as a connotation , as usually RnB males consider themselves to be powerfull males who are seen to be 'bad' and incharge therefore this graphic image could be showing this. On the grpahic image of T-pain he also wears sunglasses which again is a makor RnB fashion statment.
I think the audience would take notice of this album cover as the striped design in two different shades of yellow attract the eye and also give it a look off looking 3D.
The album cover also has a differnt look to many album covers out there and also RnB is also about the different singers getting their different RnB music styles out there. I also like the way it has been presented like a cirucs and kind of looks like the artist himself his presenting his album 'thr33 ringz' to the audience as they purchase the album.
